Welcome to the Carnarvon Softball 2019 Spring Season!

Important Registration Dates

Spring 2019 Softball Registration will be open until March 15, 2019. Please scroll down to find your age specific program and click on it for more details. The $50 late fee only applies to the Baseball Program, is does NOT apply to Softball.

Softball BC Membership Required BEFORE Registration

Already have a number and can't find it? If you already have a Softball BC Membership Number and can't find it you can look it up here: www.softball.bc.ca/membership/look-up-your-softball-bc-number/

(the look up tool can be a bit finicky at times due to their website being quite busy so you may need to try a few times for it to work, another solution if you are having trouble is to enter the month and day in reverse)

Team Selection
We will make every effort to accommodate any friend or coaching request, but no guarantees can be made.  Priority will be given to past Carnarvon players first, then on a first-come-first-served basis.

2019 Fees

U8 (2011-13) - $95 Waiting List Open

U10 (2009-10)- $160 Waiting List Open

U12 (2007-08) - $190 Registration Closed

U14 (2005-06) - $190 Registration Closed

For U10 and older divisions each player will have a $30 Fundraising Draw Fee added to their registration. This helps with funding ongoing capital projects at the club as well as the draw for fabulous prizes at the end of the season!

Uniforms
Players will receive a team uniform shirt and a hat that they get to keep at the end of the season (there is no uniform deposit).  Please ensure that they wear it to each game. Players are required to wear black ball pants. 

Player Registration Completion

  • Your child's registration is not complete until the $200 Club Duty Deposit Cheque is received or the $200 Club Duty Opt Out fee is purchased. Your child will not receive a uniform until registration is complete (please see "Volunteer Requirements" section below).
  • with our new registration system players are registered under "Player". 
  • you MUST leave your players email address BLANK if they're under 13 years old.

Parent Volunteer Requirements 

Carnarvon Ball Club is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. For the 2019 Spring Season, there will be two types of volunteering required: Club Duties and Team Duties.

Club Duties support the operation of the Club as a whole and include duties such as Coaching, Managing, Coordinating, helping with Equipment, Facilities, Field Maintenance, helping with Opening or Closing Ceremonies etc. For Club Duties, each Carnarvon FAMILY has 2 options

  1. Sign-up for a Club Duty and provide a $200 Club Duty Deposit Cheque or 
  2. Purchase a $200 Club Duty Opt Out Fee at the Online Store. 

Please make your $200 Club Duty Deposit cheque payable to "Carnarvon Ball Club" and post-date to July 1st, 2019. Include your child (or children's) name(s) and "baseball", "softball" or "both" in the note. Only one Volunteer Commitment Deposit cheque is required per family. If you completed your Club Duty before the end of the season, your deposit cheque will be destroyed. Families who have at least one player in Carnarvon Softball can mail (or drop-off) cheques to: Carnarvon Ball Club, c/o Lisa Rogers, 2880 Dean Ave, Victoria BC, V8R 4Y2. Your child's registration is not complete until the $200 Club Duty Deposit Cheque is received or the $200 Club Duty Opt Out fee is purchased. Your child will not receive a uniform until registration is complete.

The link to the Sign-Up Genius for Carnarvon Softball Club Duties will be emailed to you separately. Club Duty sign-up will open in February and jobs will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please see the Volunteer Tab on the website for the jobs that will be available.

Team Duties support your child's specific team(s) and include Scorekeeping, Field Prep/Field Marshall and Concession Duty (for home games only).  Purchasing the "Club Duty Opt Out Fee" does not release a family from completing "Team Duties".  You cannot opt-out of Team Duties.

If you are a returning Carnarvon Softball Coach, please complete the Coach Registration and register under "Staff".

Carnarvon Softball Refund Policy

If a refund is requested by email before April 15th, Carnarvon will refund the full amount - minus a $25 administration fee. No refunds will be considered after April 15th without a letter from a medical doctor. Refund requests can be emailed to: carnarvonsoftballregistrar@gmail.com
